The FAWQ would like to invite all members to join us online to discuss our activities, share your thoughts and ask questions on the direction of the Fellowship. We have reinvigorated our magazine SCOPE under our new Editor Michelle, redesigned our Website under our Web Manager Russell, introduced an open Literary Competition under the name of our past President Maureen Freer and announced our plans for the first FAWQ Readers and Writers Festival to be held in Moreton Bay next year. We would like to hear from you how you would like to see the FAWQ develop further in support of the emerging and established writer.
Online with Zoom is a means to provide access to all regardless of distance or ability. All that is required from you is an internet connection, a laptop, computer or tablet device, and the link provided above. It is free for all to join the meeting, the FAWQ has an account that enables us to host these events.

Rosalie is delighted to announce the launch of her book –
‘Y GIRLS JUST WANT TO HAVE FUN.’
The book is set at the YWCA in Richmond Victoria between 1966 & 1969. As the story unfolds the villain behind the walls and the hidden secrets become apparent. The lives, times and happenings of teenage girls are interwoven with daily life in the rag trade, the evolution of Richmond, the politics of the Vietnam War, the multiculturalism, the gang land wars and the gender attitudes. The story sits between a memoir and an historical novel.
A Covid safe procedure will be followed.
Limited seating restricted to 80 persons.
Hand sanitiser will be provided, masks optional.
