The Ian Wilson Memorial Fellowship will give an emerging author or illustrator creative time away from home in Adelaide for 21 nights in March 2019. This aims to be a gift of time and support, enabling you to concentrate intensively on the development of new work, as well as offering networking opportunities and professional development.

This month’s meeting has a “Read Your Own” component, with critiquing if required. Bring along a novel or short story you are working on and read an exerpt to the group. Members will critique your work if you wish.
OR-
For members who were there last month, you can finish the work you started last meeting and read it to the group.
October Meeting – 27th Oct at 2pm – We will be announcing the winners of the Literary Competition. The judges reports will be read and if any winners are in attendance they will be asked to read their entries.
This will be followed by a writing exercise presented by Jacqueline. If time permits we will have a Read Your Own so pleae remember to bring along a piece to read.
It has been decided that the November Christmas meeting will NOT be held at the Redcliffe RSL, as previously discussed.
Instead we will meet at our usual venue at the Redcliffe Library between 2pm and 3pm, to discuss our plans for 2019, after which we will have a Christmas celebration at the library.
We would ask members to bring a plate to share.

The first part of the meeting, from 2pm, will be the conclusion of the AGM, finalising business held over from last meeting.
This will be followed by a Poetry Workshop by Poetry Editor, Rob Morris.
